Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Ruaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Radal Mileno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Ruaz is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Ruaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Radal Mileno!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruaz dives in and grabs Mileno's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mileno pushes down on Ruaz's head and hops out.
Radal Mileno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nice sprawl there from Ruaz as Mileno shoots in.

Ruaz shoots for a takedown but Mileno saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Mileno shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ruaz but Ruaz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ruaz shoots in looking for a takedown. Mileno tries to sprawl out of it but Ruaz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mileno manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ruaz has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Mileno takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Ruaz shoots in for a double leg but Mileno sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Mileno closes the distance and clinches.

Mileno escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Mileno tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A bit of stalling here from Mileno.
Ruaz blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Ruaz misses with a hook to the ribs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ruaz can't find room to land a body shot as Mileno controls the action.
Mileno blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Mileno escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mileno leaves Ruaz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Mileno pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Mileno. No joy for Ruaz on that attempt.
No luck for Ruaz with that takedown attempt.
Ruaz fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ruaz is breathing heavily.
Ruaz tries a low kick but Mileno avoids it.

Mileno misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Mileno tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ruaz defends well and Mileno ends up having to push Ruaz into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Mileno breaks from the clinch.
Ruaz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mileno is fending him off so far but Ruaz persists. Nope, Mileno circles away and we're back to standing.
Ruaz shoots in and drives through. Mileno sprawls well.
We've been informed that Mileno has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Mileno blocks a head kick by Ruaz.
Mileno looks to land a combination but Ruaz avoids it well.
Ruaz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
No luck for Ruaz with that takedown attempt.
Mileno scores with a head kick. Ruaz tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Ruaz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Mileno has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Good leg kick by Mileno there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ruaz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mileno connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Ruaz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mileno tries to avoid it but Ruaz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mileno to the ground. Mileno escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Horrible takedown attempt by Mileno or perhaps it was just good defense by Ruaz, which made it look bad.

Mileno is pressed up against the cage. Ruaz has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mileno down to the mat. Mileno avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ruaz defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mileno.
Mileno stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mileno wants it to stay on the feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Radal Mileno showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Ruaz tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mileno just stands there and leans against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mileno is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mileno trying to keep a closed guard but Ruaz is proving a slippery customer.

Ruaz drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mileno dives on top into guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mileno wants to stand but Ruaz is controlling his posture from full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mileno is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Ruaz trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Radal Mileno is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mileno stuffs the takedown attempt from Ruaz. Ruaz gets slowly back to his feet.

Radal Mileno comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Mileno has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
