Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Turgeon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Conway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Conway!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turgeon throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Conway shoots in for a double leg but Turgeon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Turgeon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Conway tries to clinch up but Turgeon circles away and keeps his distance.

Conway is pulling down on Turgeon's head. It's preventing any offense from Turgeon, at least for the moment.

Conway is trying to push Turgeon away but Turgeon has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Turgeon.
Turgeon is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Conway is defending well for now.
Turgeon tries to score a body lock takedown but Conway shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Conway ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Conway no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Turgeon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Conway has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Turgeon has managed to get both his arms back between Conway's legs - danger averted.
Turgeon wants to get up but he can't break Conway's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Conway swats away the attempt to clinch by Turgeon.
Turgeon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Conway decides to pull guard.

Conway is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Conway working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Turgeon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Turgeon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Turgeon is looking to work some ground and pound but Conway has wrist control.

A close round but Jimmy Conway will probably get the nod.

Turgeon darts in trying to clinch
and Conway counters with a left and a right that stings Turgeon.
Conway avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A head kick misses from Turgeon.
Conway tries to bum rush Turgeon with a series of wild strikes but Turgeon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Turgeon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Conway pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Conway rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Turgeon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Conway closes this distance looking for a takedown but Turgeon circles away.

Conway changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Turgeon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Conway wants to control but Turgeon is keeping him busy.

Conway lands some shots froms side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Turgeon is trying to buck Conway off.
Turgeon is trying to improve his position.
Conway content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Conway wants to control the pace but Turgeon is squirming around nicely.

Conway goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Turgeon is on top in guard.

Conway bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Turgeon's guard.

Conway gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Turgeon goes for a double leg but Conway avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Conway continues to drive forward.

Conway jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Turgeon walks away with a smile on his face. Conway gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Conway shoots in looking for a takedown. Turgeon tries to sprawl out of it but Conway keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Turgeon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Conway is trying to stall.

Turgeon rushes Conway and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Turgeon jumps guard but Conway stands there with Turgeon around his waist. Turgeon gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
