Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ross Vangard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Condit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos Condit will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vangard scores with a hook to the body. Condit takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

The fighters circle momentarily. Vangard darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Condit is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vangard changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Condit tries to avoid it but Vangard manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Condit to the ground. Condit escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Vangard has the hooks in. Condit is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

That's time! Vangard 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Vangard throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Vangard looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Condit is fending him off so far but Vangard persists. Nope, Condit circles away and we're back to standing.
Condit shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vangard sprawls well. Vangard wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Condit gets slowly back to his feet.

and Condit counters with a head kick. That will keep Vangard thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Condit enables Vangard to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Condit manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Condit had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vangard defends it easily.
