The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsuo pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Churchill back to the cage. Matsuo follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Hugo Churchill has been cut.
We've been hearing reports that Churchill has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
