The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medvedev thumps Franko with a low kick.
Medvedev throws a low kick, looking for Franko's leg but Franko calmly moves out of range.
Medvedev lands a big head kick that sends Franko tumbling to the mat! Medvedev takes a step backwards and waves Franko back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Wladimir Franko has been cut.
Franko stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Medvedev.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Medvedev dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Franko. That did some damage!
Good leg kick by Medvedev there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Nikolai Medvedev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Medvedev tries to land a front kick but Franko steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Franko tries to close the distance and clinch but Medvedev swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Look low, kick high! Medvedev uses the oldest trick in the book to send Franko tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Medvedev is absolutely delighted - when Franko wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
