Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adamek drives through and clinches with Richards against the cage.

Adamek breaks from the clinch.
Richards keeps the fight on the outside.

Richards tries to keep at a distance but Adamek has taken the fight into the clinch.
Richards has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Adamek after a bit of a struggle.
Adamek is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Richards goes for a takedown attempt but Adamek pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kraig Richards. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Adamek moves into range and clinches up with Richards.
Adamek with an attempt at a knee that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Richards goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Adamek breaks the clinch.
Adamek stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Adamek wants it to stay on the feet.
Adamek closes the distance looking to clinch

and Richards counters by clinching up.

Adamek stuffs the takedown attempt from Richards. Richards gets slowly back to his feet.

Adamek lands a big head kick that sends Richards tumbling to the mat! Adamek takes a step backwards and waves Richards back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Richards is rocked!

It looks like Kraig Richards has been cut.
Adamek connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Richards covering up! Adamek comes in with a big uppercut and Richards goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
