Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anders Jarryd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diesel Noi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Jarryd fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Noi sprawls well initially but Jarryd persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Noi wants to get back to his feet.
Jarryd wants to lay and pray for a moment but Noi keeps working.
Jarryd is pressing down on Noi's thigh, looking to free his foot. Noi is holding on for now.

Jarryd is looking to take a break and control but Noi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jarryd wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Noi, who protects the arm well.

Jarryd has hold of Noi's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Noi manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Noi is squirming around, avoiding Jarryd's attempts to control the action.

Jarryd goes for an armbar but Noi turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Noi.
Noi wants to get up but he can't break Jarryd's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Noi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Jarryd throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Noi because Jarryd loaded up on that one.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Noi is in all sorts of trouble here.

Jarryd jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Noi is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Noi and Jarryd has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
