PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kosti Johannes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaydon Ace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johannes comes to the ring accompanied by Raised Fist - Killing It. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kosti Johannes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jaydon Ace!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ace shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johannes pinned against the cage. Johannes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Johannes gets a clinch.
Ace tries to pull guard but Johannes holds him up against the ropes and eventually Ace drops back down to his feet.
Johannes lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Johannes lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ace backwards.

Johannes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ace closes the distance and clinches up with Johannes, looking for a takedown. Ace pushes Johannes against the ropes but Johannes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kosti Johannes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaydon Ace.
A jab-cross combination lands for Johannes and sends Ace crashing to the mat! Johannes follows him down to the mat - Ace regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Ace is rocked!

It looks like Jaydon Ace has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johannes takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Ace is still in real trouble! Can Johannes finish him?
Johannes scores with a big shot! Ace's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Ace! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
