Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Don Cragen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devin Houle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cragen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Captain Cragen. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devin Houle!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cragen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Cragen gets caught flat footed, as Houle shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cragen is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Houle wants to control from the top but Cragen keeps moving.
Houle prevents Cragen from getting back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cragen being controlled here, momentarily.
Cragen wants to stand but Houle is controlling the position.

Houle trying to control the position from guard on top but Cragen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Houle slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Houle is looking to take a break and control but Cragen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Houle is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Cragen wants to get back to his feet.

Houle swings around for an armbar but Cragen sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Houle's guard.

Cragen wants to stand but Houle is controlling his posture from full guard.

Houle had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cragen defends it easily.
Houle manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cragen manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Houle is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Houle looking to pass the guard.
Houle trying to control but Cragen is working from the bottom.

Cragen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Houle.

Devin Houle showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Cragen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Houle circles away quickly and effectively.
Houle shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cragen as he avoids it easily.
Cragen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Houle moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cragen just misses with a punch to the body.

Cragen throws a right hand that Houle ducks under and follows up with a left that Houle also avoids with ease.
Cragen scores with a leg kick.
Cragen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Houle misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Houle shoots in for a takedown but Cragen shows good takedown defense.

Houle shoots in and bounces Cragen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cragen wants to stand up but Houle is controlling him.

Houle lying in Cragen's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Cragen decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Houle taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
