Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Super Simo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Chambers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Simo.
Horrible takedown attempt by Simo or perhaps it was just good defense by Chambers, which made it look bad.
Simo tries to close the distance and clinch but Chambers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Simo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Chambers has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Super Simo.
