The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mini fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Mini closes the distance and clinches up with Guntin Rodriguez, looking for a takedown. Mini pushes Guntin Rodriguez against the cage but Guntin Rodriguez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mini fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mini's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Mini duly obliges.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Guntin Rodriguez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mini's waist but Mini gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Guntin Rodriguez off to one side.
Guntin Rodriguez tries to clinch up but Mini circles away and keeps his distance.
Mini shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Guntin Rodriguez's guard.
Mini trying to control but Guntin Rodriguez is working from the bottom.
Mini has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Guntin Rodriguez is proving hard to escape from.
Guntin Rodriguez is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Mini frees his head nicely. Oh but Guntin Rodriguez has switched to an armbar! Mini is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
