Perlaza has chosen Visions as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Plaza Perlaza has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perlaza throws a head kick but Franklin moves out of range.

We've been informed that Perlaza has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Perlaza is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Perlaza is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Franklin asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Franklin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Perlaza tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Franklin cranks the arm and Perlaza screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Perlaza, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
