Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Young Blood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dane Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane tries to clinch up but Blood circles away and keeps his distance.

Kane closes the distance and pushes Blood back into the cage.
Blood working hard to break the clinch.
Kane drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Some wild striking there from Blood.
Blood falls off balance throwing a combination

so Kane counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Kane is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Kane slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Kane wants to stand but Blood has his arm trapped.
Blood is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Iron Fist Training that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
A lull in the action here as Kane stalls from top position.

Blood pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Blood misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kane tries to clinch but Blood moves out of range.

Kane rushes Blood and presses him up against the cage.

Kane manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Kane gets control of Blood's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kane will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Kane isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Blood stacks Kane on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Blood!

Blood decides to stand back up. Blood steps back and let's Kane get back to his feet.

Blood fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kane manages to avoid it.

Blood gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kane stops Blood from standing up.
Kane controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Dane Kane wasn't active enough on the ground.
Jab, jab by Blood - just one landing.

It looks like Dane Kane has been cut.
Blood throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kane fails with the takedown.
Blood throws a right and a left that Kane avoids nicely.
Kane throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Blood's waist but Blood gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kane off to one side.
Young Blood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Kane moves into the clinch.
Kane fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Young Blood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dane Kane.

Kane jumps guard but Blood stands there with Kane around his waist. Kane gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Blood breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Blood tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Kane darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Blood tries to kick Kane off but Kane keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Kane moves into full mount! Blood won't be happy about that!
Blood sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Kane looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Blood is fending him off so far but Kane persists. Nope, Blood circles away and we're back to standing.
Young Blood is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kane has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Blood has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
