Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David The Lion!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from The Lion, right into the meat.
Scott bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Scott misses with a straight left.
The Lion is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The Lion connects with a leg kick. Scott looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Scott misses with a takedown
and The Lion makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The Lion misses with a jab, cross combination.
David The Lion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Lion lands a jab-cross combination.

The Lion closes the distance and clinches.
The Lion misses with a body punch.

Scott has dropped down and is working for a takedown. The Lion is trying to keep an underhook but Scott manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scott stands up over The Lion, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The Lion is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Scott tries to circle away but The Lion has him pinned against the cage.

Scott throws a series of strikes that have The Lion backpedaling.

The Lion rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Scott moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The Lion clinches with his opponent.
The Lion lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The Lion digs a right hand into Scott's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Scott's gas tank.
The Lion lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Scott creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Scott gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, The Lion regains guard.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts The Lion, as that shot connected.

Scott gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Scott escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Scott feints and then cracks The Lion's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow The Lion down.

The Lion throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Scott.

Scott looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Scott looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The Lion wants to control but Scott is keeping busy.
Scott drops an elbow to the side of The Lion's head.
The Lion is not content to let Scott control the position.

It looks like Andy Scott has been cut.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Scott is letting The Lion control him for a moment.
Scott might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Scott is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on The Lion's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The Lion is trying to control. Scott wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The Lion digs a right hand underneath Scott's ribcage. Scott let out a lung full of air as it connected.

The Lion throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Scott's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The Lion moves in looking to clinch but Scott pushes him off.
The Lion tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Scott manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The Lion scores with a kick to the body.
Scott drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A nice leg kick lands there from The Lion.
The Lion misses with a few strikes there.
The Lion is looking to clinch but Scott is avoiding it.
The Lion connects with a good right hand that stumbles Scott. Scott circles away out of range and recomposes himself.


Scott is rocked!
The Lion lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Oh Scott is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Scott dives in for a single leg takedown but The Lion sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
The Lion lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Scott to his knees! The Lion keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David The Lion!
After the fight, David The Lion was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
