Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Raymon Cleveland!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marty Leslie!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Cleveland looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cleveland jabs Leslie right on the nose. Leslie blinks but takes it well.
Leslie's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cleveland connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Leslie scrambles back to his feet.
Cleveland is looking to clinch.
Cleveland tries to close the distance and clinch but Leslie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Cleveland gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Cleveland is looking to break free of the clinch but Leslie has double underhooks.
Leslie tries to score a body lock takedown but Cleveland shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Cleveland tries to break the clinch but Leslie is controlling the position.

Cleveland doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Cleveland gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Leslie.

Cleveland escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cleveland moves to clinch but Leslie breaks away

and Leslie counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Leslie lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Leslie is looking to work some ground and pound but Cleveland has wrist control.
Cleveland wants to stand and escape but Leslie is having none of it.
Cleveland preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Leslie missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Leslie connects with a couple of short punches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Leslie landing with the ground and pound.
Leslie is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Leslie wants to pass the guard but Cleveland is keeping the position.
Cleveland not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Leslie is looking to pass into half guard but Cleveland pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Cleveland is in guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Leslie is on top in guard.
Leslie throwing strikes from guard but Cleveland blocks nicely.
Leslie throws an elbow that misses. Cleveland uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Leslie's guard. Nice move by Cleveland!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Leslie can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Leslie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Cleveland controls from within his opponent's guard.

Cleveland postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Leslie is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cleveland, into his guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Leslie throws a strike but Cleveland rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cleveland accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Leslie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cleveland is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Leslie scores with a couple of nice shots.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marty Leslie dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Cleveland tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Leslie was well out of range. Poor timing from Cleveland.
Cleveland tries to clinch up but Leslie circles away and keeps his distance.
Leslie swats away the attempt to clinch by Cleveland.
Cleveland throws a push kick but Leslie slaps the foot to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leslie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cleveland to score with a decent uppercut.
Cleveland throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Cleveland with a jab.
Cleveland fails with an attempt to clinch.
Marty Leslie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Leslie circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cleveland darts in trying to clinch

and Leslie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cleveland won't be happy with that.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cleveland pushes Leslie away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Leslie gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Leslie lands a nice forearm strike.
Leslie lands a decent elbow from side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Leslie looks up at the clock and then as Cleveland takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Leslie smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leslie is working Cleveland over with some ground and pound from side control.
Leslie throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Cleveland is trying to buck Leslie off.
Leslie connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Cleveland some visible discomfort.


Cleveland is rocked!
Leslie cracks Cleveland with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Leslie immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Cleveland is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Leslie!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marty Leslie!
