Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Desmond Ambrose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lazzaro Lorenzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lazzaro Lorenzo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lorenzo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

It looks like Lorenzo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Ambrose has his foot on Lorenzo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lorenzo works his way back into a safe position though.

Lorenzo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ambrose was covering up waiting for the punch and Lorenzo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lorenzo wants to clinch up but Ambrose keeps it at a distance.

Lorenzo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lorenzo misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ambrose enables Lorenzo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ambrose manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Lorenzo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ambrose walks away with a smile on his face. Lorenzo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
