The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buzzer has a takedown stuffed.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ovan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ovan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Ovan had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Buzzer is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ovan Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Buzzer's back instead.

Ovan could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Ovan is striking well from the back but Buzzer escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ovan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ovan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Buzzer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ovan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ovan showed some decent athleticism there.
Ovan wants to take a breather but Buzzer is having none of it.
Buzzer is looking for a sweep. Ovan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Ovan looks to land a combination. Buzzer sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

I would just about give that final round to Beaver Buzzer.
I've got Buzzer winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
