Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Louie Prima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karevul Ikarus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prima comes to the cage accompanied by You're Going Down. Ikarus has chosen Flight of Icarus by Iron Maiden as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ikarus looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ikarus crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Prima - the referee stops the clock and Ikarus gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Prima. Ikarus manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Ikarus looks to land a right hand but Prima moved out of range.
Ikarus closes this distance looking for a takedown but Prima circles away.

Ikarus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Prima's waist but Prima gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ikarus off to one side.

Prima creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Ikarus's defenses.

Ikarus gets control of Prima's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ikarus will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close round but I would say that Louie Prima will probably get the nod.

Ikarus shoots in looking for a takedown. Prima tries to sprawl out of it but Ikarus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Prima manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

It looks like Karevul Ikarus has been cut.
We've been told by Prima's head coaches at St Petersburg MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
