The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez lands a head kick. Williams smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Lisa Williams has been cut.

Williams tries to keep at a distance but Sanchez has taken the fight into the clinch.

Sanchez stops a takedown attempt from Williams.
Williams is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Sanchez is defending well.

The referee is keeping an eye on Sanchez - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Sanchez has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Williams - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Sanchez, and another! Williams is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!

After the fight, Hector Sanchez was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
