Marstars kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Puddle of Mudd - Living on Borrowed Time. William Marstars has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Don Appleberry!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Appleberry throws the left hand but Marstars avoids the punch easily.
Marstars throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Appleberry.
Appleberry circles away from the clinch attempt.
Marstars tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Appleberry manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Marstars tries to clinch up but Appleberry circles away and keeps his distance.
Marstars takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Appleberry connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Marstars wants to clinch up but Appleberry keeps it at a distance.

Marstars tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Appleberry paws at him with a jab and circles away.
William Marstars seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Marstars looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Marstars rushes Appleberry and presses him up against the ropes.

Marstars throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Marstars misses with some punches.
Marstars tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Appleberry's elbow.

Marstars misses with a knee to the head.
Marstars misses with a short punch on the inside.
Appleberry lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Marstars is looking to control Appleberry's arms but Appleberry gets an underhook and turns him. Now Marstars has his back to the ropes.
Appleberry blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Appleberry lands a right hand that snaps the head of Marstars backwards.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Appleberry blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Marstars just misses with a elbow thrown towards Appleberry's brow.
Appleberry lands a hook to the side of the head.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Appleberry blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Appleberry trying to control the position but instead, Marstars has worked for underhooks and has pushed Appleberry into the ropes.

Appleberry breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Marstars with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Marstars looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Marstars get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? Yes, he's struggled back up to his feet and seems OK to continue. The referee agrees so we're back to the action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Having scored a knockdown, Don Appleberry should take round 1, putting pressure on his opponene back strong in round 2.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Marstars backs away from a small jab... but Appleberry lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Marstars crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Appleberry with a spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Don Appleberry!
