Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chauncey Silvestre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heston Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Animal I Have Become as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silvestre darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Silvestre pulls his head out easily.
Gracie is looking for a sweep. Silvestre is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Gracie wants to control but Silvestre is keeping busy.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Silvestre is defended easily by Gracie.

Gracie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silvestre was covering up waiting for the punch and Gracie finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Gracie takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silvestre swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gracie throws a leg kick but Silvestre checks it.
Gracie misses with an uppercut. Silvestre saw that one coming.
Heston Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silvestre shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gracie as he jumps to the side.
Gracie sizes up Silvestre with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Gracie leaves Silvestre with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Silvestre shoots in for a takedown but Gracie shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chauncey Silvestre. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gracie lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Silvestre has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Silvestre and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well Gracie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
