The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd cheers as Ali lands an impressive looking overhand right. Henderson doesn't seem phased though.

Ali fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Henderson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Henderson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ali walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Henderson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Henderson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ali.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Henderson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ali has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ali and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Henderson throws a nice looking combination but Ali bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Ali has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

and Ali counters with a nice uppercut.
Henderson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ali.

Henderson gets cracked there but stands up to it.

and Ali connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A solid leg kick lands there for Henderson .

Henderson punishes Ali's body with a nice straight punch.

Ali cracks Henderson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ali has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Henderson to stand back up!

Henderson is rocked!
Henderson throws a front kick aimed at Ali's knee but Ali avoids it well.
Oh Henderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ali closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Henderson ! Ali dives in looking to finish! Henderson is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Monty Ali!
After winning the bout, Monty Ali thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
