Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Dredd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgar Hoover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dredd's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I Am The Law!. Hoover has chosen Ecstasy of Gold as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dredd sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hoover's guard.

Hoover is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dredd's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dredd's back!

Hoover shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dredd as he jumps to the side.

Dredd fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hoover manages to avoid it.

Hoover stalks Dredd and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dredd's face. Dredd staggers backwards, shaken.
Dredd throws a leg kick but Hoover sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Hoover tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dredd defends well and Hoover ends up having to push Dredd into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hoover changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dredd fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Hoover closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hoover lands in his opponent's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jackson Dredd will probably get the nod.
