Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ike Hayden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boyka fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hayden sprawls well initially but Boyka persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Boyka wants to stand but Hayden has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Boyka throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hayden was covering up waiting for the punch and Boyka finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Hayden tries to close the distance and clinch but Boyka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Boyka shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hayden as he avoids it easily.

Boyka is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hayden defends well.

Boyka jumps guard and drags Hayden to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hayden accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Boyka had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hayden defends it easily.

Hayden throws a strike but Boyka rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Boyka decides to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boyka manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Boyka wants to take Hayden's back here but Hayden is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The fight stays on the outside here - Boyka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Yuri Boyka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
