The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Trees throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Horrible takedown attempt by Williams or perhaps it was just good defense by Trees, which made it look bad.
Williams fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Williams misses with a wild combination.
We've been told by Williams's head coaches at The GYM (12 elite coaches on the Island) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Trees's coach down at island top team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Trees's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Trees is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Trees got a little sloppy there for a moment and Williams has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Trees has managed to get both his arms back between Williams's legs - danger averted.

Trees swings around for an armbar but Williams sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Trees's guard.

Williams drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Trees manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Williams has Trees in his guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Trees throws a strike but Williams rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ryan Williams will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Williams shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Trees sprawls well. Trees wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Williams gets slowly back to his feet.

Trees bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Williams's head backwards.

Williams jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Trees walks away with a smile on his face. Williams gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Trees scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Ryan Williams has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tall Trees is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
