Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Taisumov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petr Cech (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taisumov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is eRa- Enae Volare Mezzo. Cech tries to clinch up.

Cech tries to close the distance and clinch up but Taisumov swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Taisumov is looking for a sweep. Cech is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Taisumov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Taisumov tries to get out of the position.
Cech seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Taisumov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Taisumov wants to get back to full guard but Cech has mounted him!
Cech wants to control the pace but Taisumov is squirming around nicely.
Taisumov reaches up to try and control the position but Cech seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Taisumov rolls and tries to escape and now Cech has his back!

Cech is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Taisumov knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Taisumov for a finish.

Taisumov is trying to get back to his feet but Cech has full control of the position and if anything, Taisumov has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Cech has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Taisumov has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Cech is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Taisumov moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Cech! Taisumov continues to tee off on Cech, landing with a left and a right! Taisumov connects with a right hand that leaves Cech sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Taisumov!
