The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pinocet throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gonzalez.
Pinocet is looking to clinch.
Pinocet throws a left and a right that both miss
and Gonzalez makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Pinocet throws a shot to the body.
Gonzalez takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Pinocet looks to land a combination but Gonzalez avoids it well.
Pinocet tries to clinch but Gonzalez moves out of range.

Pinocet looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Sloppy strikes from Pinocet. Those never looked like landing.
Gonzalez shoots in for a double leg but Pinocet sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gonzalez shoots in for a takedown but Pinocet shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chung Gonzalez. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pinocet keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Pinocet makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Gonzalez is breathing heavily.
A punch lands to the side of Gonzalez 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Gonzalez is rocked!
Gonzalez gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Pinocet gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Gonzalez is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

A less than humble Gorkon Pinocet misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
