Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jun Gyeong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Chandler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gyeong might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Intro. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gyeong pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Gyeong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chandler paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Gyeong counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Chandler thinking.

Gyeong has Chandler pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Gyeong pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Chandler tumbling to the mat - Gyeong dives into Chandler's guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Gyeong's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
