Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vittek leaves Bauer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Vittek gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Vittek has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bauer uses from the top position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Vittek manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bauer manages to get himself to full guard.
Vittek wants to control from the top but Bauer keeps moving.

It looks like Vittek might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Dusan Vittek was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Vittek bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bauer's head backwards.
It looks like Jarod Bauer has been cut.
Bauer tries to keep at a distance but Vittek has taken the fight into the clinch.
Bauer really is a fat lump.
Bauer is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Vittek gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Bauer tries to pull guard but Vittek holds him up against the cage and eventually Bauer drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jarod Bauer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bauer is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Bauer throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Vittek blocks it with crossed arms.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vittek is pressed up against the cage. Bauer has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Vittek down to the mat. Vittek avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Vittek throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Vittek misses with a takedown attempt
and Bauer counters with a shoot takedown. Vittek fights it but they end up in guard.
Vittek wants to sweep here but Bauer controlling him for the moment.
Vittek wants to hit a switch here but Bauer passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Vittek there!

Vittek wants to hold on but Bauer pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vittek sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Bauer is trying to control the action in half guard but Vittek is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Vittek regains full guard. Nicely done.
Bauer is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Vittek is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Vittek has escaped and now he's on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bauer wants to sweep but no luck.
Vittek decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Bauer get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Bauer stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Vittek runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dusan Vittek!
