Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Small (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Kali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Damien Kali enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Small circles away from the clinch attempt.
Small swats away the attempt to clinch by Kali.
An inside leg kick lands from Kali.

Kali drives through and clinches with Small against the cage.
Kali stalling in the clinch but Small improves position.
Kali wants to break the clinch but can't.
Small has Kali pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kali manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Small escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kali is looking to clinch but Small is avoiding it.

Small feints and as Kali raises his hands in defense, Small changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Small wants to pass the guard but Kali is keeping the position.
Small might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Small seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Small passes into half guard.

Small is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kali is just riding it out for now. Small eventually gives up the hold.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Small lands a nice short elbow.
Small slows the pace down in half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
