The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahajan misses with a body shot.
Mahajan keeps the fight on the outside.
Mahajan misses with a lunging right hand
and Balotelli counters with a nice leg kick.
Balotelli with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mahajan to score with a decent uppercut.
Mahajan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Balotelli paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Balotelli misses with a hook.
Mahajan throws a jab but it's blocked by Balotelli.
Mahajan lands a head kick. Balotelli smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mahajan throws a shot from downtown. Balotelli moves away and avoids it.

Mahajan closes the distance and clinches.

Balotelli pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Balotelli throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Mahajan fails in his attempt to clinch.
A head kick misses from Mahajan.
Mahajan avoids the head kick by Balotelli.
Mahajan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Mahajan closes the distance but Balotelli moves to the side

and Balotelli counters with a crisp one two that drops Mahajan! Balotelli thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Mahajan to his feet! Mahajan is in big trouble!

Mahajan is rocked!

Balotelli rushes Mahajan and presses him up against the cage.

Balotelli lands an elbow that stopped Mahajan in his tracks for a moment.
Balotelli lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Mahajan to his knees! Balotelli keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
