Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gale Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rukah Padero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Padero is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Midnight Conspiracy - Discord (At Dawn We Rage Remix). Rukah Padero is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gold misses with a body kick.
Padero bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rukah Padero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gold has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Padero takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Padero tests Gold's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Padero looks to land a left hand but Gold moved out of range nicely.

Gold uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Padero swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Padero throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gold on the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gold lands a big right hand that sends Padero crashing to the mat! Gold stays standing though and waves Padero back to his feet!

Padero is rocked!
A slapping body kick lands there for Gold.
Padero is still on wobbly legs! Can Gold finish him?
Gold dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Padero . That did some damage!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Padero crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gold - the referee stops the clock and Padero gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gold. Padero manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Padero on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Gold digs a good body shot into Padero 's ribs.
Padero seems to have recovered his senses.

Padero shoots in and gets a takedown into Gold's guard.

Padero tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gold knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Padero seems to be working for a kimura but Gold defends the submission attempt.
Gold wants to improve his position but Padero is controlling well.
Gold is looking to control Padero 's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Gold avoid being mounted?

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Padero is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Gold has managed to free his arm - good work.
Padero is looking to take a break and control but Gold is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Padero might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gold haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Padero looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gold is fending him off so far but Padero persists. Nope, Gold circles away and we're back to standing.

Padero throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gold's waist but Gold gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Padero off to one side.
