Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fitzroy Watkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Fitzroy Watkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watkins fails with an attempt to clinch.

Watkins looking for a guillotine here but Sanchez defends easily.

Watkins turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Watkins manages to end up in side control.

Watkins is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sanchez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Sanchez manages to work his way to half guard, despite Watkins's best efforts.

Watkins is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sanchez is surviving well by controlling Watkins's body position as best he can.

Watkins is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sanchez can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Sanchez tries to land knees in the clinch but Watkins avoids the damage to the body.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Watkins tightens his grip and picks Sanchez up, before dumping him to the ground. Sanchez manages to land in guard.
Watkins stands and throws Sanchez's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Watkins is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sanchez has escaped the position, nice work there.

Watkins has hold of Sanchez's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Sanchez tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Watkins cranks the arm and Sanchez screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Sanchez, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Fitzroy Watkins!
