Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willy Wuzz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kent Roger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Willy Wuzz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kent Roger!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roger lands a nice hook to Wuzz's body. Wuzz takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Wuzz scores with a takedown into Roger's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Roger is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Wuzz is pushing down on Roger's leg trying to pass to half guard. Roger is fighting to maintain full guard but Wuzz has managed to sneak the leg through.

Wuzz is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Roger has managed to free his arm - good work.
Wuzz tries to pass the half guard into mount. Roger knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Roger keeping moving, preventing Wuzz from controlling successfully.
Wuzz is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Roger looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wuzz is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Willy Wuzz.

We've been hearing reports that Wuzz has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Roger misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Wuzz tries to clinch but Roger moves out of range.

Roger shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wuzz is trying to defend but Roger finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Roger is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Roger seems to be working for a kimura but Wuzz defends the submission attempt.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Wuzz slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A jab lands there for Wuzz.
Roger walks into a jab.
A good leg kick by Roger.
Roger takes one to the side of the head.
Kent Roger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wuzz shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Roger napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Roger is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Wuzz off and has taken his back!
Roger gets his hands free as Wuzz looks to control.

Roger looking to break Wuzz's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Wuzz remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Roger will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Roger is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Wuzz has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Roger thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Roger has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Wuzz has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Roger doesn't have the hooks in and Wuzz manages to turn into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Willy Wuzz will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Wuzz takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Roger fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Wuzz checks it well.
Wuzz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Roger sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A solid leg kick lands there for Roger.
Roger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Roger misses with a body shot.
Wuzz wants to clinch.
Roger is looking to score with low kicks.
Wuzz wants to clinch up but Roger keeps it at a distance.
Roger scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A telegraphed right hand from Wuzz misses the target.
Wuzz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wuzz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Roger swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Wuzz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A head kick misses from Roger.
Wuzz throws a right and a left that both miss.
Roger bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Roger lands with a kick to the temple. Wuzz shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
A jab from Wuzz finds it's way through Roger's defenses.
Wuzz jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Wuzz is looking to clinch but Roger is avoiding it.
Wuzz tries to clinch up.

Wuzz forces Roger back against the cage and clinches.
Wuzz lands a right hand that snaps the head of Roger backwards.
Roger is trying to break the clinch but Wuzz has him pressed against the cage.
Wuzz stalling in the clinch but Roger improves position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wuzz lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Wuzz tries to throw a body punch but Roger avoids it by throwing Wuzz back against the cage.
Wuzz lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Roger backwards.

Wuzz lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Wuzz seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Roger is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Willy Wuzz!
