Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Terry Brawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Brawler might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ruthless. Terry Brawler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Diego Martinez!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Martinez crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Brawler - the referee stops the clock and Martinez gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Brawler. Martinez manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Brawler throws a series of punches but Martinez avoids them all with ease.
Nice body punch from Brawler.
Martinez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brawler lands with a nice combination. Martinez backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Diego Martinez has been cut.
Martinez looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brawler tries to bum rush Martinez with a series of wild strikes but Martinez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
No joy there for Brawler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Brawler misses with a double jab.
Brawler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Brawler waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Martinez. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Martinez to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Martinez is rocked!
Brawler trying to control the position from guard on top but Martinez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Martinez is still in real trouble! Can Brawler finish him?

Brawler is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Martinez is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Martinez seems to have recovered his senses.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Martinez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brawler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Brawler might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Martinez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brawler doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brawler manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Martinez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brawler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Martinez working for a triangle but Brawler defends it easily.

That's time! Brawler's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Brawler takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Martinez tries to move into range but Brawler moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Brawler lands with an overhand left.
Brawler throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Brawler tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Martinez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Brawler misses with a few strikes there.
Terry Brawler is winning the standup battle so far.
Brawler swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Martinez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Brawler to the mat! Brawler manages to get full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Martinez is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Brawler is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Martinez looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Brawler is pressing down on Martinez's thigh, looking to free his foot. Martinez is holding on for now.

Brawler seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Martinez does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
