Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith moves into the clinch.

jam is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
jam tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Smith just stands there and leans against the cage.
jam is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Smith is keeping busy.

Smith feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Smith drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Smith jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
