Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wilfred Klein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Snapper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klein shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Snapper wants to get back to full guard.
Klein is thwarting Snapper's attempts to control the position.
Klein is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Snapper is just riding it out for now. Klein eventually gives up the hold.
Klein is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Snapper is on top in guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Klein lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Snapper circles away quickly and effectively.

and Klein counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Klein dips to his left and cracks Snapper with an uppercut!

and Klein counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Klein.
Snapper fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Klein misses with a knee strike.
Klein pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A bone on bone clash there as Klein blocks the leg kick.
Klein takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Klein's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Klein duly obliges.
Snapper gets a clinch.
Klein is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Snapper is defending well for now.

Come on Klein - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Klein working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Snapper doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Snapper manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Douglas Snapper hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Klein looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Klein slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Snapper is looking to regain half guard here but Klein keeps moving and retains side control.

Klein tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Klein connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Snapper some visible discomfort.

Snapper is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Klein is looking to take a break and control but Snapper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Klein is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Snapper knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Snapper is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Klein gets his way!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Klein, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
