The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skoll scores with the left hand. Barron knows he should have avoided that one.
Barron shoots in and drives through. Skoll sprawls well.

Skoll clinches up against the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Skoll.

It looks like Mose Barron has been cut.

Skoll breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Skoll throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Skoll stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Skoll wants it to stay on the feet.
Barron shoots in but Skoll avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mose Barron. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Barron closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Skoll to the mat! Skoll manages to get full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Barron won't allow Skoll to get back to his feet.

Barron stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Skoll swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Barron stands and steps away. Skoll gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Skoll lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Barron at a distance.
Hoenir Skoll is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Skoll tries to bum rush Barron with a series of wild strikes but Barron uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Barron fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Barron is defended easily by Skoll.
Skoll throws a head kick but Barron moves out of range.
Barron walks into a left hand.

Skoll misses with a wild body shot.
Barron shoots in for a takedown but Skoll shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Skoll throws a right and a left that both miss.
Skoll throws a series of punches but Barron avoids them all with ease.
Skoll throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Skoll lands a right hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Skoll scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Skoll gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Barron to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Barron is breathing heavily.

Skoll wants to stand and escape but Barron is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barron is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Barron gets to his feet. Skoll looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Barron shoots in looking for a takedown but Skoll manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Barron's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Skoll moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Barron is rocked!
Barron takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Oh Barron is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barron gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
