Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Craig Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Mario (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Craig Edwards!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Mario!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mario rushes Edwards and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Mario successfully pulls guard.
Edwards throws an elbow that misses. Mario uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Edwards's guard. Nice move by Mario!
Mario wants to stand but Edwards is controlling his posture from full guard.

Craig Edwards has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Mario moves into the clinch.

Edwards is fighting off a takedown attempt but Mario is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Edwards to the mat. Edwards regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
