PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arjuna Pandava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jemetrius Dohnston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pandava's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, 月刀歌 by Katanagatari OST. Arjuna Pandava had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Jemetrius Dohnston told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Pandava. That snapped Dohnston's head back.

It looks like Jemetrius Dohnston has been cut.
We've been told by Pandava's head coaches at Team Finland that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Dohnston takes a swing at Pandava's ribcage but misses.

Pandava really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters circle momentarily. Pandava darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Dohnston is rocked!
Pandava walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Dohnston drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Pandava swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Dohnston's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arjuna Pandava!
In his post fight interview, Arjuna Pandava gave a big smile as he said 'What is the use to us of an existence without heroic deeds, born as we are of an illustrious line?'.
