Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kinfe Kidane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kidane has chosen Buraka Som Sistema - Kalemba (wegue wegue) as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kinfe Kidane was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Kidane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dos Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dos Santos is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kidane is just riding it out for now. Dos Santos eventually gives up the hold.
Dos Santos seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Dos Santos is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kidane can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kidane wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Dos Santos.

Horrible takedown attempt by Dos Santos or perhaps it was just good defense by Kidane, which made it look bad.

Kidane pushes Dos Santos against the cage. Kidane is working some dirty boxing. Kidane pushes off with a quick right hook! Dos Santos goes down! Dos Santos tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Kidane moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
