Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Palau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and B A (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palau kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bob Marley - I shot the sherif. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palau swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Nelson Palau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A bone on bone clash there as Palau blocks the leg kick.

Palau scores with a takedown into A's guard.
A trying to strike off his back.
A wants to sweep here but Palau controlling him for the moment.

A had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Palau is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. A Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Palau's back instead.

A is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Palau is defending well though. A let's go of the attempt for now.
Will A go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Palau tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Palau has his foot on A's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. A works his way back into a safe position though.
A passes Palau's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

A is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Palau is looking to sinch up a triangle. A throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Palau's body to avoid the submission. Palau has instead reached around A's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Palau arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
