The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock tries to bum rush Chalidow with a series of wild strikes but Chalidow uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Chalidow throws a hook but Rock avoids it easily.

Rock steps into range and cracks Chalidow with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Chalidow flops backwards and Rock dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Mamed Chalidow has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rock loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Rock is looking to work some ground and pound but Chalidow has wrist control.
Rock works over Chalidow with some ground and pound from guard.

Chalidow is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You can see the frustration on Chalidow's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Chalidow is looking to regain half guard here but Rock keeps moving and retains side control.
Rock in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Chalidow looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Rock turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
