Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Better (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller comes to the cage accompanied by The Black Angels. Better has chosen Mother by Danzig as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Evan Better!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Better moves out of range of the strikes.
Nice shot lands for Better.
Miller lands a jab to Better's midsection.
Better tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Miller manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Miller fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Better manages to avoid it.
Miller listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

It looks like Evan Better has been cut.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Miller enables Better to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Miller manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Better is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Evan Better seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Better tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Better throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Miller on the side of the head.

Better is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Better wants to lay and pray for a moment but Miller keeps working.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Better working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Better is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Miller doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Better.

That's time! Miller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

No joy there for Miller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Better lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Miller is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Better can do to turn this around?

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Better tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Better has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Better has an Americana. Miller didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Better is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Better hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

After winning the bout, Evan Better thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
