We've been informed that Dyson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Dyson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Akesson throws a low kick, looking for Dyson's leg but Dyson calmly moves out of range.
Dyson blocks a low kick nicely.
Akesson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dyson to score with a decent uppercut.

Akesson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dyson circles away.
Dyson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Akesson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Akesson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Dyson lands a big head kick that sends Akesson tumbling to the mat! Dyson takes a step backwards and waves Akesson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Jimmie Akesson has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dyson misses with a kick to the body.
Dyson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Akesson. That did some damage!

Dyson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Akesson sprawling to the canvas! Akesson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dyson finish him?!
