Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patches Melone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez has chosen Soulja Boy Tell'em - Pretty Boy Swag as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Patches Melone has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Patches Melone seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Patches Melone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jordan Ramirez!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melone is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Melone darts in and clinches Ramirez up against the cage.
Melone is trying to push Ramirez away but Ramirez has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
A bit of stalling here from Melone.
Melone tries to break the clinch but Ramirez is controlling the position.
Melone gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Melone perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Melone tries to pass to full mount but Ramirez defends it.
Ramirez is defending against the submission attempts here by Melone.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Melone wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ramirez keeps working.
Ramirez blocking the ground and pound attempt from Melone.
Melone is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ramirez has managed to free his arm - good work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Patches Melone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Melone throws a solid leg kick but Ramirez takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Melone.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Melone misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Melone fails to land the takedown.
Melone throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ramirez counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Melone tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ramirez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Melone dives in and grabs Ramirez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ramirez pushes down on Melone's head and hops out.
Melone shoots for a takedown but Ramirez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patches Melone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Melone throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ramirez's waist but Ramirez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Melone off to one side.
Melone is breathing heavily.

Melone fails in his attempt to clinch.
Melone looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Melone shoots in for a takedown but Ramirez shows good takedown defense.
The fight stays on the outside here - Melone looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Melone shoots in looking for a takedown but Ramirez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Melone's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Melone dives in and grabs Ramirez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ramirez pushes down on Melone's head and hops out.
Ramirez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ramirez stuffs the takedown.
Melone will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Melone pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ramirez circles away from the clinch attempt.
A shot to the body from Melone misses
and Ramirez counters with a crisp one two that drops Melone! Ramirez thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Melone to his feet! Melone is in big trouble!
Melone is rocked!
Melone shoots and misses
and Ramirez counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Melone to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Ramirez!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jordan Ramirez!
Jordan Ramirez very nearly forgot to thank KAISER amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
