Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wanderley Rizzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romario de Lima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). de Lima comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sepultura - Escape To the Void kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

de Lima shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Rizzo wants to get back to full guard.
de Lima working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

de Lima seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rizzo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Rizzo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. de Lima is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Rizzo.
