Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gustavo Adkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kris Brzeczyk!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brzeczyk lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Brzeczyk.


It looks like Gustavo Adkins has been cut.
Adkins really is a fat lump.
Adkins is trying hard to land a takedown here. Brzeczyk sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Brzeczyk shoots in for a takedown but Adkins shows good takedown defense.

Brzeczyk closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Adkins to the mat! Adkins manages to get full guard.

Kris Brzeczyk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Adkins feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Adkins keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brzeczyk's head.
Brzeczyk lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
