Don Pierre is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Racionais Mc's A Vida Desafio. Jacques Don Pierre struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Don Pierre bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Don Pierre misses with a wild body shot.
Raimundo Sobral seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sobral throws a low kick but it's checked well by Don Pierre.

Sobral lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Don Pierre at a distance.

Don Pierre goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Sobral turns into him and now he's in Don Pierre's guard.
