Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peyton Miller!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

No joy there for Miller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Miller has his feet on Worrell's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Worrell instigates a clinch.
Miller misses with a knee strike.

Worrell tries to land knees in the clinch but Miller avoids the damage to the body.
Miller tries to pull guard but Worrell won't allow it.

Miller gets control of Worrell's arms and successfully pulls guard. Miller will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Miller kicks Worrell off and gets to his feet.
Worrell wants to clinch but Miller slips to the side

and Miller holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Worrell throws an elbow but misses.
Worrell is pressed up against the cage. Miller has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Worrell down to the mat. Worrell avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Miller fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Miller fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Miller will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Worrell holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Come on Worrell - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Miller tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Worrell smiles and moves away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Miller thows a leg kick but Worrell checks it
and Worrell counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Miller decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Miller wants to control but Worrell is keeping him busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Peyton Miller will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Worrell moves into the clinch successfully.
Worrell misses with a short punch on the inside.
Worrell looking to throw knees to the head but Miller is blocking nicely.

Miller has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Worrell is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
The referee calls for Worrell to work.

Miller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Worrell clinches with his opponent.
Miller jumps guard but Worrell stands there with Miller around his waist. Miller gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Miller is trying to trip Worrell. He has hold of a leg but Worrell is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Miller persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Miller decides to stand up, so the ref orders Worrell to his feet.

Worrell moves in looking to clinch but Miller pushes him off.
Pete Worrell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Miller throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Worrell's head.
Miller fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Worrell.
Miller lands a jab to Worrell's midsection.
Miller moves in looking to clinch but Worrell pushes him off.

Miller gets control of Worrell's arms and successfully pulls guard. Miller will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Miller looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Worrell wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving.
Miller trying to keep a closed guard but Worrell is proving a slippery customer.
Miller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Worrell has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Miller is proving hard to escape from.

Worrell has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Miller to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Worrell is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Miller pulls down on the head and he's put Worrell to sleep! This one is all over!
